1.Who you're dealing with

Daily Spanish Community ("DSC", "we", "us") is operated by Josefina Méndez, a certified Spanish teacher based in Argentina. Contact: hola@dailyspanishcommunity.com.

2.What we offer

• Grammar Course membership — a monthly subscription (€35/month) giving you access to the interactive A1 Spanish grammar course and our Discord community. Includes a 7-day free trial.
• Community membership — a monthly subscription (€15/month) giving you access to our Discord community.
• E-book — Argentine Spanish Made Simple (USD 15), a digital download delivered immediately after purchase.

Prices are shown at checkout and may include applicable taxes depending on your country. We may change subscription prices in the future; if we do, existing members will be notified by email at least 30 days in advance and may cancel before the new price applies.

3.Your account

• You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your login credentials private.
• Accounts are personal: one account per person, no sharing of logins or course access.
• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

4.Free trial & billing

The Grammar Course includes a 7-day free trial. Here's exactly how it works, with no surprises:

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. You can update your payment method, view invoices, and cancel your subscription anytime through the Stripe customer portal linked in your account.

5.Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel anytime — no questions, no retention games. When you cancel:

• Your access continues until the end of the billing period you already paid for.
• You won't be charged again.
• We don't issue partial refunds for unused days of a billing period.

6.Refunds & EU right of withdrawal

E-book

The e-book is digital content delivered immediately. At checkout, you expressly consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that, once the download begins, you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal that applies to online purchases in the EU (Art. 16(m), Consumer Rights Directive). In plain words: no refunds once the e-book has been delivered. If a technical problem prevents you from accessing your purchase, write to us and we'll fix it.

Subscriptions

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA or UK, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from your first payment. Because the Grammar Course already includes a 7-day free trial — which lets you evaluate the full product before paying anything — by subscribing you request that the service begin immediately after the trial. If you withdraw within 14 days of your first charge, we will refund the amount paid minus a proportional deduction for the days of access already used. After those 14 days, section 5 applies (cancel anytime, access until the end of the paid period).

7.Intellectual property

All content we create — course units, exercises, the e-book, quizzes, audio, images, and community materials — is protected by copyright and belongs to DSC. Your purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use it for your own learning. You may not copy, share, resell, redistribute, or publish our materials, in whole or in part. This includes sharing the e-book file or your course login.

8.Community rules

Our Discord community is a space to learn. By joining you agree to:

• Treat other members and the tutor team with respect — no harassment, hate speech, or discrimination;
• No spam, self-promotion, or unsolicited advertising;
• Follow Discord's own Terms of Service.

We may remove content or, in serious or repeated cases, suspend or terminate a membership for breaking these rules. In that case, no refund is issued for the current billing period.

9.What we promise (and what we can't)

We put real care into our courses and materials, and we keep them accurate and up to date. But learning a language depends on many factors, so we can't guarantee specific results — no honest teacher can. The services are provided "as is"; we may occasionally update, improve, or restructure course content, and brief technical interruptions can happen.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the services is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law grants you and that cannot be waived.

10.Termination by us

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms (for example, sharing login credentials or redistributing our materials). We may also discontinue a product entirely; if that ever happens, active subscribers will be notified in advance and refunded any unused portion of their billing period.

11.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when our products or legal obligations change. The date at the top always reflects the current version. For significant changes, members will be notified by email; continuing to use the services after a change means you accept the new terms.

12.Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA or UK, you additionally keep all mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence, and you may bring disputes before the courts of that country. The European Commission also provides an online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
